Up and coming Australian producer Sam Hopgood is a welcome addition to the Perspectives Digital roster after releases on Lauter, Natura Viva, and Particles. Hitting its stride with immediate impact, Sam reveals a shimmering gem with "Spectre". An arpeggiated pattern sets the tone as its detuned phrasing adds attitude and sonic variation. A delicate piano motif at the three-quarter mark breakdown is the perfect juxtaposition for the hypnotizing arpeggio, while a heavy kick, simple offbeat hi-hats, and atmospheric woodblock percussion are the perfect rhythmic backdrop.

Darin Epsilon's Perspectives Digital imprint picks up the pace in 2019 with its 66th release! UK duo Collective States return to the label with their highly anticipated "Cloud Jumper" EP.

With a rich musical heritage to their name, Dan Reid and Gary Benetton have hit the ground running under their Collective States production moniker. The past two years have continued to see a clutch of high-profile releases on Stil Vor Talent, Toolroom, and Knee Deep in Sound, placing Collective States at the vanguard of the underground dance scene. The duo is supported by a galaxy of A-listers including Sasha, John Digweed, Carl Cox, Pete Tong, and James Zabiela. Furthermore, their breakout hit "Planet Mongo" was picked up by Carl Cox for BBC Radio 1 and remixed by the iconic Alan Fitzpatrick.

After a standout remix of Blaktone in May 2018, they return to Perspectives with a debut original EP for the label. "Cloud Jumper" revels in a shuffling percussive groove, pounding beat, and grooved clave riff that lay the foundations for a hypnotic arpeggio to filter into sonic range as it builds in intensity to the midpoint breakdown. Rising and falling with veritable ease, the track explodes into life in the second half with the arpeggio cutting through the mix like an acetylene torch.

Fueled by a similar percussive groove, "Graded" keeps the energy high with its combination of 808 shakers and open hats. A throbbing bassline plays its part in creating a club-friendly cut that hits its stride with an analog arpeggiated riff. Haunting vocal phrases and textured pads then create a strong juxtaposition. Building effortlessly into the breakdown and beyond, all rhythmic and melodic elements combine in the second half to impressive effect.

The 65th release on Darin Epsilon’s Perspectives Digital imprint features the stunning Dreamcatcher EP from Danito & Athina. The production duo hail from Cologne, Germany, and have a rich back catalog spanning across the likes of Stil Vor Talent, Jeudi, and Einmusika to name a few. Also welcomed to the label is Armen Miran whose captivating melodic sounds have gained huge success worldwide following his move to the music hub that is Los Angeles.

The original mix opens the show, offering rolling drums and echoing plucked lines over a throbbing bassline in what is a quality production. Armen Miran arrives on the scene with a remix of Spirit, a track designed perfectly for that moment the sun disappears beneath the horizon. Whirring synths and trippy vocals dart throughout its entirety.

The original of Spirit closes this collection, with more tribal feels and empowering synth lines, in yet another impressive chapter for Perspectives.

With over 300 production credits to his name, Kamilo Sanclemente has been a regular on PD since his debut in 2015. Collaborating here with Dabeat, the duo's "Cosmosphere" is a beautifully constructed track that combines intricately programmed rhythm and tightly-locked bass to superb melodic elements. Gently pulsating pads entwine with stepped arpeggio sequence while a flowing freeform motif provides organic and unscripted magic. The result in another slice of progressive heaven from the two Colombians.

The enormously talented young producer Paul Kardos makes his triumphant return. Already crowned the winner in Darin Epsilon's "One Thousand & One Nights" remix competition with SonicAcademy.com in late 2017, Paul's "Focus EP" on Perspectives saw the Hungarian's reputation continue to grow. The aptly titled "Beautiful Landscapes" is an exquisitely constructed track with its strong kick and intelligent atmospheric samples. A chorus of string progressions add to the aural collage, while a rich soundscape redolent in ambient sound and shimmering keys keep interest high.
