With a mission statement to spread "full-energy progressive sounds to a global audience", SHAZZE is an artist with a culturally diverse background. From Indian roots and a life spent largely in the UK, his graduation from the London Sound Academy has subsequently seen him flourish with performances at London's Ministry of Sound and EGG LDN. Furthermore, a production career that began in early 2021 has quickly led to releases on Einmusika, BeatFreak, UV, and ICONYC. Making his Perspectives Digital debut in December 2022 with his his hit track "Lucy", SHAZZE returns to the label with a new single titled "No Time To Waste".

"No Time To Waste" is full of driving Melodic Techno character as a 16th note bassline and syncopated synth phrase add immediate urgency. Quickly hitting its stride via a smooth melodic lead and growling bass note, light vocal phrasing adds a further layer of intrigue and spine-tingling emotion. A superbly imagined breakdown creates a powerful zenith before melodic prowess and driving rhythmic force return in the second half to dynamic effect.

For the 102nd release on Perspectives Digital, we're honored to welcome Markus Klee & Tomy Wahl, a seasoned pair of artists and stalwarts of the modern Melodic House & Techno movement.

Markus Klee has had a marked impact on the German club scene playing an integral role in its development. A chance opportunity behind the decks quickly shone a light on hidden talents, as the self-taught DJ from Berlin became a prominent figure across the capital at the likes of Sisyphos, Kater Blau, Birgit, Renate, among many others. Moreover, as his success grew, Markus became a resident at the globally renowned Ritter Butzke. A production career that began in 2016 has seen the German producer quickly establish himself with a select portfolio of releases that have featured on 3000Grad, Bar 25 Music, Criminal Bassline, and of course Ritter Butzke Records.

Argentinean star Tomy Wahl needs little introduction. A legendary figure across the clubs of his homeland with performances at Crobar, Pacha, and Bahrein, Tomy has captivated club-goers the world over in a host of European cities that include Berlin, Barcelona, Amsterdam, as well as touring through South America in Florianopolis, Curitiba, Bogotá, and onto the Indian sub-continent. Able to effortlessly blend Melodic Techno, Progressive and Afro House, Tomy has witnessed almost 750 production credits on Stil Vor Talent, Selador, and Eleatics Records, to name but a select few.

Coming together for the first time as a collaborative force, "Haze" opens up at the 2 minute mark with a sublimely placed analog arpeggio that glides across the sonic landscape in elegant juxtaposition to the rhythmic elements. Rising and falling alongside a sustained piano chord, all instruments build out of the beatless breakdown into a rhythm-fueled melodic monster in the latter stages.

Although opening with a similar pounding kick, machine gun-fire bassline, and syncopated percussion, "Nitenine" is a thrilling tech infused offering that drives relentlessly forward with a hefty kick and ticking 16th note shakers. A metallic bassline provides substance as it occasionally breaks into a stuttered fill before a loquacious vocal sample supplies menace and intrigue. Pausing for breath at the breakdown, the track erupts once more post-breakdown into a devastating, seething club monster.

This release is dedicated to the memory of Iván Céspedes (Oneiro), who tragically passed away from COVID-19 in 2021 at the tender age of 40. All proceeds from the sale of his track "Omega" will be donated to Doctors Without Borders (Médicins Sans Frontières).

As co-founder of Electric Animals, one of the biggest and most influential collectives in Costa Rica, Oneiro was an artist with over two decades experience as both DJ and producer. Heartbreakingly lost to the electronic music world before his time, he headlined some of the most prestigious clubs and festivals in Latin America, and even saw his work signed to the likes of Defected In The House. His Electric Animals partner and co-founder, Javier Borrassé claims it is "a huge honor for us to have Omega on the EP. You made one of Ivan's dreams come true and he is surely happy right now". Full of dancefloor prowess, a whip-cracking kick and white-noise infused snare anchor a sizzling percussive top-line while a pitched motif fires across the upper-range with ease. Replete with retro influences, a beautiful counterpoint melody and effervescent arpeggio cut through the sonic collage with ease as a club-friendly chord progression epitomizes Oneiro's lust for life and vibrant energy.

Sydney Blu is a DJ and producer from Canada who has released on many of the industry's top labels such as Katermukke, Knee Deep In Sound, Desert Hearts Black, and her very own Blu Music.

Her big breakthrough came in 2008 when she released "Give It Up For Me" on mau5trap, making her the 1st female artist to have a Top 10 hit on Beatport.

She has been pushing electronic music forward for over 2 decades and is currently chairwoman of The JUNO Awards (Canada's equivalent to the Grammys).

Sydney also co-founded the #23by23 campaign, which encourages labels to increase their percentage of female producers to 23% or more by the end of 2023.

Alexandros was born in Sweden but he is a veteran of the Greek underground scene. He started mixing in 2001 and has produced releases on some of the titan labels of the industry including Diynamic, Ellum, Suara, Renaissance, and Katermukke, amongst many others.

His releases have garnered massive support from A-list DJ's. Names like Solomun, Maceo Plex and Sasha have all given their seal of approval.

He is a colossal believer of the quote "a day without music is a day wasted".
