Tune in to hear your two favorite co-hosts reveal their journeys with obesity, and how capitalism dominates the American healthcare system.

56 min - Nonprofit Leaders: Let's Get Real - Part 1
Meet the dynamic and wonderful Ellen, a life-long Chicagoan and community organizer! Your favorite co-hosts are honored to have a real conversation with her around the wonders of nonprofits but also the ills that society places on the sector. “The challenge of the nonprofit sector is often that we are filling in places where we as a society have become accepting and complacent about a gap that we all created, all share, and will take all of us to fix…and it is not fair that all this work can be done through charitable work.” As a society, we provide band aids with no sustainability or accountability, and that’s why we are failing those in need.

Oh my - a nerve was struck! Your favorite co-hosts are back, and this time it is in response to a series of mean comments around our Dating While Fat episode. Whomever these individuals are, you proved our point that society hates fat women (thanks for outing yourselves). The hate of fatness, a learned behavior, in America is deeply rooted in white supremacy and patriarchy. Tune in to hear all the awful comments and our responses. This video is a must watch!

59 min - A Double Love Experience, Pt 2 - Women and Faith Series
Tune in for Part 2 with Pastor Gabby as she tells us more about her church’s vision statement, and how impactful it is for her community. Not many churches focus and speak on Black Lives Matters or personal and public health, however; Pastor Gabby has made these issues a key focus of her ministry. Churches of the past have been involved in political expression, but Pastor Gabby clearly calls out political education as an important element. Listen to her passionately talk about her church’s holistic approach to ministry…do not miss this powerful conversation!
