29 year old pet welfare activist Julian Javor formed Pet Rescue Pilots to help foster his belief that every pet should have the chance to know a loving forever home. Julian began flying shelter pets in 2017 after receiving his Commercial Pilot’s License. Since then he regularly spends his weekends flying up and down the Western U-S from Southern California to Washington state and even into the Western Provinces of Canada, delivering pets into the arms of rescue groups, fosters and forever families. In this episode, Julian explains how he’s grown his non-profit mainly through social media, how he found his calling as a shelter pet pilot and why animal welfare couldn’t be more worth it.
