We’re often so sure we know what God should do, only to look back and realize His “no” was actually mercy. Peter lived in that tension too — boldly declaring Jesus as Messiah one moment and confidently correcting Him the next. His journey reminds us how easy it is to trust our instincts over God’s wisdom, and how much better it goes when we surrender our plans and let Him lead, even when it doesn’t match what we imagined.
