Today's Leadership by Proverbs covers Proverbs 28:19 which talks about hard work vs fantasies.  It's good to set stretch goals, but try to reach a fantasy could lead to poverty.

 

19 Those who work their land will have abundant food,    but those who chase fantasies will have their fill of poverty.

Pick Up the Roach reminds us that leaders need to do the dirty work.  Leaders need to do the little things.  Word Up! reminds us that "leaders own every message."  In this example, be sure you are using idioms properly or else if could affect the way you are viewed by others.

The R.O.L.E. Model of Leadership is very simple.  Relationships, Oversight, Leverage, Evolvement.  All leaders must follow these four steps to be role models of leadership.
