In this interview, I talk with Aleksandar Gavrilović, the founder and CEO of Gamechuck, a Croatian game development studio making waves in the industry. Aleksandar also served as the Secretary-General of the Croatian Video Game Developers Cluster from 2021 to 2023. Gamechuck has produced several successful titles, with their latest game, “Paws of Coal,” released in May 2023. The studio is also hard at work on “Trip the Ark Fantastic,” the first Croatian game to secure funding from the European Union's MEDIA Fund. Additionally, they’re developing “Profesor Baltazar,” a game based on the beloved animated series, in partnership with Zagreb Film and with support from the Croatian Audiovisual Centre.
