This is a conversation about the structure that exists from a social and psychological standpoint and it is not a theological drag
My purpose is to reestablish and reinforce the worth of black women within these contexts and to make both white and non-white leaders within these spaces more conscious about language and behaviorsthey use towards black women
We must remember that we are physical vessels in a physical world constructed under a white patriarchal society
I will highlight that whilst many will assume that it is white men in leadership that are the main actors in the misogynoir, but many black men in leadership comply with misogynoir as there is a play for power, position and recognition
Alongside this, white women play their part in belittling and policing black women
