Genevieve Skory |Everyone Feels like Quitting, Successful People Don’t

Transformational Speaker and Business Systems Coach

Many entrepreneurs start with a spark of excitement and inspiration, but the journey is often fraught with challenges. Sleepless nights, endless tasks, and the fear of failure can overshadow the initial hope and lead to frustration. The underlying problem here is not just the external pressures but the lack of understanding of the mental game that must be mastered along the way.

This is where I come in. As a resilience coach, I specialize in helping entrepreneurs navigate the highs and lows of their journeys by mapping out personalized strategies for emotional and mental resilience. Resilience Mapping is a structured yet flexible approach that helps you identify your triggers, strengths, and growth areas. It provides the tools and mindset shifts necessary to not just survive but thrive in the face of challenges.

I understand the struggle because I’ve been there. I’ve faced the frustration of unmet goals and the temptation to give up. But I’ve also experienced the transformative power of resilience. It’s not about avoiding failure; it’s about using it as a stepping stone. By equipping yourself with the right mental tools and strategies, you can stay aligned with your vision and build a business that not only succeeds but also fulfills you on a deeper level.

Entrepreneurship is a journey, and every journey needs a guide. If you’re ready to stop spinning your wheels and start building a foundation for long-term success, Resilience Mapping can be your roadmap. You can get help turning your frustration into focus, setbacks into stepping stones, and hope into lasting achievement.

Ben Neill's new book Diffusing Music and musical democratization

Composer/performer and author Ben Neill is the inventor of the Mutantrumpet, a hybrid electro-acoustic instrument, and is recognized as a musical innovator who “uses a schizophrenic trumpet to create art music for the people” (Wired Magazine). In his engaging new book Diffusing Music, released last month by Bloomsbury Press, Neill explores how technology is reshaping music, enabling unprecedented levels of creativity and transforming how we share and experience sound. From digital tools that let anyone become a music maker to AI systems that write, mix, and master songs, Neill breaks down how these advancements empower creators and reshape the relationship between artists and audiences. Part history, part personal story, and part look at what’s next; Diffusing using Music is a must-read for anyone curious about the future of music.

Phantom Electric Ghost Interviews: Jeff & Health of Hecojeni; Old Rockers New Band

"From Chillbumps to Hecojeni: Reuniting Through the Power of Music" Explore Jeff and Heath’s journey from their college band days to reuniting decades later, crafting a new musical legacy.

Second chances at dreams DO come true! Join us as Jeff and Heath, reunited after decades, discuss their incredible musical journey from college bandmates (The Chillbumps) to their new project, Hecojeni. This episode is an ode to the power of music and friendship. Don't miss their Christmas song on "Rockin' the Holidays"! Meet Hecojeni: Jeff and Heath have been lifelong friends since their college days in Auburn, Alabama. They first joined forces in The Chillbumps from 1988 to 1994 with Jeff on bass and Heath on guitar and backup vocals.

Following their time with The Chillbumps, Jeff relocated to Atlanta, where he delved into the world of IT and started a family. Throughout his journey, he remained connected to his musical roots, releasing music under various aliases such as AudioSpam2.0, My Forever DJ, and BuddhaFi.

Heath took a different path, joining the Marines in response to the events of 9/11. He bravely served his country with two tours in Afghanistan and one in Iraq, all while cherishing the journey of fatherhood and welcoming a beautiful daughter along the way.

In 2022, Jeff and Heath reunited and collaborated on a poignant song titled Catch Me When I Fall. Recorded in a makeshift mobile studio, the track captures themes of distance, relationships, and love, with Heath as the songwriter and Jeff as the engineer and producer.

Since then, Heath and Jeff have written about 20 songs including an original Christmas song, Christmas Lost Today, for the Rockin-the-Suburbs compilation, Rockin' the Holidays out on Phono Phone Records:
