Starting in late 1992 and continuing well into 1993 at least thirty cattle were found mutilated in the farm country around Fyffe, Alabama. The animals were found slaughtered with high heat incision wounds, a profound lack of blood and no tracks left by their attackers. The lead investigator called them Phantom Surgeons.
