Today I’m reflecting. I have had so many candid conversations with my guests and now it’s time for me to layout my thoughts and re-analyze my initial belief about African optimism. It’s incredible how much you can learn from just being open to receiving new insight from a conversation with someone different to you. Realism is sometimes better than optimism. I hope you enjoy! Being half Zimbabwean and half South African has surfaced a number of challenges for me as a young girl and for the most part, I still struggling with them today. Xenophobia and lack of African integration may seem irrelevant but it goes a long way in creating the kind of environment that promotes growth and development for a continent like ours. This specific episode is raw and straight from the heart. Somethings are better presented straight from the heart. It may be a bit tricky to understand or follow but just give it a go😏
