Boston looked dead in the water without its leading scorer and newly named 2018 All-Star starter, Kyrie Irving. Despite forcing 22 turnovers, the Celtics never closed a Sixers gap that ballooned to 19 at times in the third quarter.

Joel Embiid led Philadelphia down the stretch with 26 points and 16 rebounds. He will accompany Kyrie to Los Angeles for the 2018 NBA All-Star Game that takes place in one month.
