Philippians 4:13 — Strength Through Christ: Courage for the MorningScripture (NIV)
“I can do all this through him who gives me strength.”
Recorded live here in London, England with Reverend Ben Cooper
As the world begins to stir at 5 a.m., Philippians 4:13 rises as a declaration of courage for every believer. Across India, Norway, Mexico and South Sudan, people wake carrying burdens, decisions and pressures that feel too heavy. Yet Christ meets us with supernatural strength. His power begins where ours ends. In these early hours, we lean into the truth that every task, every challenge and every step can be accomplished in Him and through Him.
Context
Life demands more than human strength, but Christ supplies what we lack. This scripture is not about self-confidence but Christ-confidence. He empowers us when we are tired, anxious or unsure. His strength is the engine that carries us through each moment.
Reflection
Courage grows when we recognise our dependence on Jesus. We do not face today alone. Christ strengthens the weary, encourages the fearful and lifts the discouraged. When we take our eyes off the pressure and focus on Him, resilience rises and peace returns. He is our source, our strength and our steady foundation.
Intercession & Vision
Lord, strengthen believers across India, Norway, Mexico and South Sudan. Infuse workplaces, homes and hearts with supernatural courage. Let this scripture become a living reality as your people rise to face the day empowered by Christ.
