Paul’s ambition is know Christ and the power of his resurrection. But there is a fullness of knowing Christ that will only be possible when Christ returns and transforms our bodies to be like his glorified body. Therefore, the faithful in Christ must continue to press on towards the prize of participating in Christ’s resurrection.
