The Philadelphia 76ers lose again, this time to the Memphis Grizzlies without Ja Morant, and fall to an NBA worst 2-12 to begin the year. Joel Embiid looked much better in this one, scoring 35 points and adding 11 rebounds. But, Paul George exited the game early with a hyperextended knee, the second time this year that has happened. Philadelphia Flyers lose for the second consecutive game, falling to the Carolina Hurricanes 4-1 last night at home. Ivan Fedotov was excellent through the first 40 minutes, but the Flyers allowed 3 third period goals.

Reports have surfaced from within the Philadelphia 76ers locker room that Tyrese Maxey called out Joel Embiid for being late to team activities. How did we get here with Joel Embiid and the Sixers?
