This is the FINAL EPISODE of the Philly Sports Four for 4 Podcast!!!
Over the years, I've had fun expressing my joy and pain our teams have made us feel. I still like talking sports, but I don't love it anymore....It's time to move on.
I thank you all for rocking with me over the years. We've had so much fun. You can still catch me on social media and relieve all of our moments with our past episodes.

January 23, 2024 S2 Ep 14.....A Timely Demise/NFL Playoffs Recap
What and ending to an abysmal second half of the season.
The Eagles go down in flames and lose to the Tampa Bay Bucs during Super Wildcard Weekend 32-9 (Scoring 9 points is just ridiculous)!!!!!
There are so may questions but here is what we know now:
-Sirianni is returning (set to address the media on 1/24 with Roseman)
-Desai is OUT (fired by Sirianni)
-Patricia is OUT (contract not renewed)
-Brian Johnson won't be returning (I found this out after recording)
-Riverboat Ron Rivera is interviewing for DC
-possible links to Wink Martindale and Denard Wilson for the DC opening (reports)
-Jim Bob Cooter could possibly become the OC (yuck)
What bothers me is the lack of urgency about this entire situation. There is so much that needs to be done and it seems like the Eagles are taking their time. With Sirianni returning, I'm not sure how much faith I have in the organization to fix it!!!

January 02, 2024 S2 Ep 13....What Has Happened to the 2023 Philadelphia Eagles?!?!
As I recorded this, I couldn't help but to ask this question....What has happened to the 2023 Philadelphia Eagles???? Where did the fun go? What happened to the team that could win games??? What happened to the creativity??? Why can't they seem to pull it together at the most vital point of the season???
Yes this team is broken, but I didn't expect this level of brokenness. Honestly, I know this team can't win a title this year. I'm fine with that. I'm not even sure they will win a playoff game. I also know there are serious problems with this team that cannot be fixed with the remainder of this season/postseason.
The Eagles need to face the inevitable and start the rebuilding process. Not a retool, but a full rebuild!!!! You have pieces, but time to cut bait with some of these high priced vets and build through the draft for the next 2-3 years. Understand there will be growing pains, but we will be better for it.

FINALLY!!! The Eagles end their 3 game losing streak and get a win. They stopped the bleeding!!! However, I'm not completely sure if we are happy with this. It seems like morale with the Eagles is down more than ever.
This week, we were able to get a Special Guest on the pod. Thank you to Shan-Tay Mercedes Watson (@shantay_mercedes) for coming on the pod and talking Eagles with me. She also talked me off of the ledge lol.

December 19, 2023 S2 Ep 11. Eventually the Pendulum Swings!!!!
Just as the title says, eventually the pendulum swings. Things swung one way during the beginning of the season and we were all having fun while the Eagles were winning. Well the pendulum is swinging back and the Eagles' flaws and sins are showing. This team's true identity is being revealed and it's not pretty. Bottom line, this team is a BAD FOOTBALL TEAM!!!

December 05, 2023 S2 Ep 10....DESTROYED AND HUMBLED!!!
If you can't understand what happened by just the title, then you've been living under a rock!!!!

The Eagles were DESTROYED by the 49ers on Sunday 42-19. A game the Eagles started well ended up falling apart at the seems. Two straight 3 and outs forced by the Eagles Defense followed by SIX STRAIGHT TOUCHDOWNS!!!! What an EMBARRASSING way to perform on national TV.

The Eagles are left to pick up the pieces this week as we head into Dallas Week pt 2. Spoiler alert, I don't feel great about this week and if I were a betting man, I'd pick Dallas outright!!!!

Is the season over, no. Is there time for panic? Absolutely not. Is there cause for concern? Absolutely!!!! What has been masked by winning over the last few weeks was exposed on Sunday. I'm not sure if the Eagles can right the ship in one week. We shall see.

November 29, 2023 S2 Ep 9....If You Want to Win, Put Jalen In!!!!!
Just as the title says, if you want to in, put Jalen in!!!! In other words, give Jalen the ball and watch H1M make a play. Leave enough time on the clock and watch H1M win it all!!!!
The Eagles have ANOTHER come from behind victory, beating the Buffalo Bills 37-34 in OT!!!!! After a terrible 1st half by this entire team, they came out in the 2nd half and took this game by the horns. However, Josh Allen wouldn't let up, putting his team ahead numerous times. The Eagles pushed it to OT w/ a Jake Elliot FG (59 YARDS) and #1 pulled us over the Finish Line to VICTORY!!!!
This team is special!!!! Next up, the 49ers!!!!

November 22, 2023 S2 Ep 8....GREAT Teams Find Ways to Win Games They're Supposed to Lose!!!!!!
How!? Impossible!!!!!! No Way!!!!!!!!
The Eagles come off of their bye with a Statement win on MNF, beating the Kansas City Chiefs 21-17. Was it pretty, ABSOLUTELY NOT!!! Honestly, after that 2nd Quarter (worst of the season), I would've been satisfied with the Eagles making it a respectable loss.
But I forgot who this team was.....This is the PHILADELPHIA EAGLES led by the General, Jalen Hurts.....H1M!!!!!!!
The Eagles are now 9-1 and have another big game coming against the Buffalo Bills!!!
Additionally:
-The Sixers have the 2nd best record in the East
-Aaron Nola signed a 7-year $172MM deal
-The Flyers are winners of 5 straight games

November 08, 2023 S2 Ep 7....Eagles/Cowboys...TOUGH WIN!!!!!
...WHAT A WAY TO GO INTO THE BYE WEEK!!!
TOUGH WIN!!!!
The Eagles played the Dallas Cowboys on America's Game of the Week. Needless to say, it didn't disappoint. After much anxiety, rising BP, heart palpitations, and other health issues, the Eagles pulled off a 28-23 victory. Even with Dallas moving the ball in the 4th quarter and having two possessions in positive territory (including the final possession in the Redzone), the Eagles Defense made plays where they needed it most, sacking Dak twice on the final drive.
Eagles didn't escape the game without paying the price. Jalen is banged up, Goedert broke his forearm, and Nakobe Dean is out with a foot injury. The bye couldn't have come at a better time.
Rest up fellas. Well deserved. We will see you on MNF vs. the Chiefs.

Tough Gritty win in Los Angeles, but the Eagles move on and are 5 - 0!!!! Additionally, the Phillies went down to Atlanta and took a 1-0 lead in the NLDS (***please note this was recorded before game 2, the series is now 1-1)!!!
