With the collapse of freedom of speech and the rise of cancel culture in the West, society is commiting suicide, both existentially and psychologically.
The first stems of a tyrannical state is often times the control of language, and North Korean defector Yeonmi Park describes how this is occuring even in the very universities and institutions in the West today.
I highly recommend you to watch the entire interview with Dr. Peterson as it is greatly insightful into the life and experience of someone who suffered under a totalitarian system.
