Guest preacher, Rick Efird, continued our series "The Bible Jesus Read" as we looked at how God gives us signs and "memorials" to remember his faithfulness.

The Old Testament makes up the first 39 books of our bible, about 3/4 of it. Yet many of us bypass it because we don't understand it. Pastor Tim Birdwell started a new series on the old testament looking at the Pentateuch, the first 5 books of the bible. We discovered that the Pentateuch is God’s Law, woven into the story of God’s people. It lays out a path to follow and shows us how Jesus fulfills the path on our behalf, and empowers us to walk in it.

Sabbath is more than a law to be obey, it's a rest to enjoy. Pastor Tim closed out our series with "Joyful Rest".
