Mary Jane Boneshirt is a young Lakota Warrior woman from the Rosebud Reservation South Dakota USA. Mary is involved with the Tomato Tipi Project, where she grows fresh vegetables to help change the Native peoples diet on the Rez. She is creating change for her people by being proactive in her community, hear her story.

This is a special episode with my 3 nieces to honour the memory of their mother....their Mummy Adele Sandy died on the 30th May 2020 due to neglect, ignorance and systemic racism in the health system. As the 1 year anniversary of her death passes us by, we honour Adele and remember the graceful Black woman she was and we embrace the strength and resilience of her amazing 3 daughters Timesha, Elisha and Simona. This is ADELE's LEGACY!! THE ADELE AFFECT!

The sites and sounds of the BIG CITY....I get selected to work at the 2000 Sydney Olympics as a filed reporter for The National Indigenous Radio Service (NIRS) lead by my idol....Legendary Aboriginal Media Warrior Tiga Bayles. The experience of witnessing Kathy Freeman on the world stage has a profound affect on my career and psychology towards our people. That moment inspired me to LIVE ME DREAMS and LOVE WHO I AM!
