Phoole has a cold and is on cold medicine, about which she’s very self-conscious, so she mentions it a thousand times. TWO tunes have something to do with TWELFTH NIGHT by Mr. Shkspr. - ‘Play On’ and ‘Opal.’ Phoole’s compromised state means she starts a bunch of stories and finishes very few of them, and talks over parts of the songs she meant to NOT talk over, but she doesn’t trainwreck, so that’s a win. Both Angelo the Cat AND Tony the Cat make appearances in the PhooleOut Shelter - as does the beautifully-healing Tiffany who is so cute that Phoole can’t look directly at her.

Most artists are obscure. Arbitrary mechanisms ensure you only learn about some artists and don’t learn about most artists. Phoole got you an Artist Oracle deck of cards at the gift shop for the Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles and everybody gets some art history lessons, including Phoole herself - and one big lesson is that you have to make stuff, even if no one has heard of you, even if you think no one is paying attention or no one cares. The only way to waste you is to not use you. Leap all bounds and make stuff! Tough out the tech woes at the top of the show and enjoy. It’s worth it!
