Man, one of the most iconic, well known photos in history is the shot taken back in September, 1932 of 11 Iron Workers sitting on an iron beam, 800ft over New York City. Eastman Double-X 35mm black and white film. Man, this is a very cool film with a very cool look. It’s one of Kodak’s motion picture film stocks but is also available from places like Film Photography Projects online store, as well as Cinistill to shoot in 35mm cameras.

I gotta say, even just after shooting two rolls of this film, I’m definitely looking forward to shooting much more.

Also, why aren’t people making more black and white movies anymore. What’s the deal with that!? Enjoy.

I’m a big fan of documentaries; the behind the scenes stuff. Some of my favorite photos to see are those of people who have been photographed, or documented in someway while they were creating. Sometimes I’m actually more excited by seeing those photos than I am of the actual finished work. We all know people who are artists, or at least creative. Recently, in a coupe different episodes I kind of went on and on and on about the joy of using a Holga camera. Man, they are a lot of fun to use, and can give you pretty beautiful results. Last week a saw a video from Landscape Photographer, Steve O’nion. In this video Steve showed the beautiful landscapes you can get using this little Plastic Fantastic.
