Today we will be discussing scientific literature examining alterations in gastrointestinal bacteria for those with Autism Spectrum Disorders versus normal individuals.  This was prompted by a Wall Street Journal article examining the powerful effects of gastrointestinal microbes on systemic diseases and health.  This article received a letter to the editor refuting the relationship between gastrointestinal bacteria especially in its relation to autism.  In today's broadcast we are citing several scientific journal articles that are demonstrating a microbial link to autism.  On http://powerhealthtalk.com one can find references from several scientific journals.
