Chris was born and raised in the Willamette Valley of Oregon. He met Jesus at a young age and grew up in a non-Christian household. However Jesus never let him go. Eventually Chris went to Arrowhead Bible College in Fishtail Montana when he earned a 1 year discipleship certificate. From there Chris traveled to Rocky Mountain Bible College in Calgary Alberta Canada. He graduated in 2015 with a degree in BA in Vocal  Performance and  Religion.

Jesse Turkington is the executive director of Parable Ministries and has been a Bible teacher since 2014. When Jesse was just finishing high school, he started a little Bible study at his parent’s house. Little did he know, this Bible study would change the direction of his life. He fell in love with the richness of the Bible and he wanted to pursue serious study. About 10 years later, Jesse still carries that passion for the Bible and from this passion was born Parable Ministries - a Bible teaching resource.

Hunter grew up in Montana and now serves the Church in Albany Oregon where he works as a youth and young adults pastor. He and his wife Ana stay busy with two kids. Hunter loves studying the Bible and communicating it in a way which encourages further exploration of others. Hunter enjoys listening and making podcasts for others to enjoy.

Using an undergrad focus on Behavioral Health and Ministry, and an M.Div. focused on Intercultural Studies and Missiology, RJ strives to engage people on their own grounds for Christ and biblical thinking through his adjunct professorship at Arizona Christian University and partnerships with parachurch ministries, such as Pickled Parables. With his wife, Camryn, the two aim to provide firm, faithful ground for their community through hospitality, biblical literacy, and higher education.

Anne Roth joins Hunter to share her testimony of the work Jesus has done, and is doing, in her life. In it, we reflect on the joys of a firm foundation in the person of Jesus Christ.

Anne Roth works as an English teacher and has a lifelong passion for learning. She worked for 10 years at a Christian international school in Kampala, Uganda, and loved the chance to teach and disciple her students in their faith as well as their academics. She is now based in Oregon again, and gratefully continues to share the truth of God's word whenever the opportunity arises.

He has served as Youth Pastor at Creekside Bible Church for the past year and as Director of the online missions organization Christian Influence for over two years. Jerry deeply values Christian community, friendships, and the joy of shared experiences, especially through games & storytelling. He is honored that he "gets to" use these as gospel-centered tools to reach and disciple today’s “terminally-online” generation.
