In the very first episode of the companion podcast I talk about when is the right and wrong time to capture images of people, or most importantly how are subjects presented, in a social media driven society where everyone has recording and photography capabilities on their mobile phones and where voyeurism for the voyeurism, or a cheap laugh has become the norm. It makes me wonder about the responsibility we all have with these devices and in particular what the craft of photography and its practitioners have in leading the conversation.
