Piecing It Together Podcast

On the 43rd episode of Piecing It Together, new co-host Joe Black and I discuss one of the biggest movies of 2018, A Star Is Born. This is the 4th version of this classic story of one star's ascent while her mentor goes down in flames, and quite frankly, Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper knock it out of the park. Puzzle pieces include Crazy Heart, Once, and Lady Gaga's actual career.

As always, SPOILER ALERT for A Star Is Born (and any other movies we discussed)!

On this special episode of Piecing It Together, we follow up Episode 42’s discussion of indie-horror film Dry Blood by talking to writer/star/composer Clint Carney. I had met Clint at the FilmQuest Film Festival last year and when I saw the trailer for his film, I thought it would make for a great movie to cover on the show. I was really excited that he was up for a filmmaker follow-up episode.

As always, SPOILER ALERT for Dry Blood (and any other movies we discussed)!

On the 42nd episode of Piecing It Together, and first of 2019, Chad Clinton Freeman joins me to check out the indie horror film Dry Blood. I had met writer/star Clint Carney last year at a film festival and thought it would be fun to check out one of his projects on the show, and Dry Blood, a cerebral horror film was the perfect opportunity, and we’ll be doing a follow-up interview with Clint Carney next week. Puzzle pieces include Evil Dead, The Shining, Requiem For A Dream and Super Troopers.

As always, SPOILER ALERT for Dry Blood (and any other movies we discussed)!
