Back to the real world! Let’s talk about leaving the safety of treatment and jumping back into the grind.
The podcast features Mat Pierce who has gone into treatment and discusses his experience with the rules and regulations. I was hoping to move up to phase two, which would allow me to have my headphones and phone in between group sessions. However, I was told that the staff and community would have to approve my request, which frustrated me. I express my frustration with the rigid rules of the treatment center and how it hinders my recovery at times. I feel like I am not being heard or supported and am worried that my negative thoughts might cause me to be kicked out of the program.

Hello, and welcome back to our podcast. Today, we will be discussing some topics that we hope will resonate with many of our listeners. We'll be exploring the need for testing relationships, adjusting to a new treatment center, and the challenges of reuniting with family members after an extended period living apart.
Many of us have probably experienced that feeling of wanting to test our relationships – whether it's with romantic partners or friends.
