Dans ce conte animé inspiré de l’histoire acadienne, Pierre Martin nous transporte sur la langue de terre de Cap-Sable, un matin de brume où l’aube marche sur la pointe des pieds… mais où le peuple, lui, refuse de plier.

Alors que les navires anglais approchent, les Acadiens sortent leurs fourches, leurs chaudrons… et leur courage.
Ils résistent.
Ils se défendent.
Et ce jour-là, la mer elle-même chante en Acadien.

Inspiré d’une toile d’art naïf, raconté avec tendresse et un brin de magie.

Dans le creux d’un bois brunswickois, Jack le chat, un cerf rêveur et des poissons curieux se retrouvent au bord d’une rivière. Ça parle pas fort, mais ça dit tout : la forêt, le vent, la lumière… tout se comprend sans mot.

What if the Knights Templar escaped with their treasure?
What if they crossed the Atlantic and buried it on a remote island off Nova Scotia… guarded by traps, ancient symbols, and a silent black cat who saw everything?

Dans un rêve plus vrai que l’aube, Jack le chat, Pierrot le coq, et la Corriveau se retrouvent dans un tribunal sans murs, sans juges… mais rempli de silences.

La Corriveau ne cherche ni vengeance ni pardon.

Elle veut qu’on sache. Qu’on comprenne pourquoi elle revient, nuit après nuit, enchaînée à l’oubli.

Ses chaînes sont faites de rumeurs. Ses blessures, de silence.

Pierrot écoute. Jack comprend.

Et peut-être que vous, chers bipèdes, entendrez enfin ce qu’aucun procès n’a su accueillir :

la voix d’une femme qu’on n’a jamais laissée parler.

Dans ce premier épisode d’une série en trois actes, Jack le chat nous entraîne dans les ruelles du Vieux-Québec, où il croise la célèbre Corriveau… mais pas comme on vous l’a racontée. Accompagné de Pierrot le Coq, Jack découvre une âme fatiguée, enchaînée par l’oubli et l’injustice.
