Native to Oxford, Mississippi, Sarah Megan Jenkins studied Painting at  Memphis College of art in Tennessee, completing her degree in 2010.  Sarah relocated near New Orleans, Louisiana where she now lives and  paints full time.  Engaged by nature at a young age, Sarah Megan's work represents the  natural energy flow found within oneself and it's connection with the  Earth. Pulling imagery from her own experiences and travels, Sarah's  work searches for a rhythmic nature of its own. Her work is courageously  pure and leaves the viewer embraced by the emotional quality in her  paintings.

Katie Blackwell is an artist, ICU nurse, and mom of two creative  torpedos. Painting has been in and out of her life in direct correlation  with her sanity. The beginnings art collection Of surrealist figures  dominated her early art career.   Her goal was to go back to those twisted corded figures after finishing  her nursing degree.   Fast forward a lifetime: mental health led her back to full time art.  

Long story short, being an artist is more than the material you use or  the products you make. It is a thought process, way to sense and  understand the landscape around you. Being an artist is not something  that comes or goes. It is a temperament, not something to be put aside  by simply Turing off the tap any more than one can decide to stop their  blood.  Her art is now focused on observations of self within portrait work. 

 Offering custom pet portraits, surrealist/abstract portraits and  original art  Now through a new company Name; Shadow Work Portraits.  Appropriately named as the method to bringing light into every corner of  our being to more clearly represent that which is us and let that tap  flow.

My name is Charo and I am a freelance digital illustrator out of Miami  Florida. As I sat down to write this short bio, I asked my friends to  describe me and quickly got tenacious and infectiously optimistic thrown  at me. I’ll take those and wield them as a superpower to help me and  anyone else who needs that boost to believe in themselves and their  hidden ability. I got into art for completely selfish reasons. I always  had stories in my head that I couldn’t find content for so I decided to  just make my own! That with my love of gaming, movies, and visual novels  introduced me to countless communities filled with other content  creators, friends, and endless avenues for storytelling. My personal  favorite projects and games being Post-Apocalyptic storytelling, Fallout  being top of the list.

Riyen spends a good portion of his life trenching mud, battling  mosquito's, and avoiding some of the many dangerous creatures down in  the swamps, all while trying to capture the most elegant shots of what  Louisiana has to offer. His roots go deep, and his passion for his  community shows through his work which include business promotional  photo/video, real estate photography, aerial shots, automotive  photography and more! His ability to capture the personality of his  clients shows through in the product delivered as portraiture's.         

Riyen’s main focus is bringing the hidden beauty of Louisiana (minus  the critters) to homes and offices for everyone to enjoy.

Howard Lawrence first studied art in 1972 and by 1974, Howard stopped creating for  decades. Two years ago Howard picked it up the old drawing pad and pencil to start anew. He does charcoal drawings of many subjects which includes dogs and cats. Howard describes his work as an exercise in finding a greater reality.
