I wasn't expecting a long tangent about whether or not Ritchie is a Mary Sue... I think he kind of is, and even if people disagree, the fact that the boy has a lack of character development is indisputable. And yet, he gives us a great story and one of my favorite of the side stories? Ritchie, you're a paradox, but you're good at what you do! Click here to listen to the episode!

Also, our sponsor, Pokepress, is back from the Pokemon North American International Competition! Check out Pokepress this way!  Who won the tourneys, what Pokemon were used, why is Pokken so confusing and yet so fun to watch?

Also, haha, I had to change my Patreon name, because I'm fickle and thought I was so original. (Spoiler, I'm not.) This way to the new Patreon name, same site, and new episode of Pokemon Adventures! Woohoo! What's Red been up to? (Also being fail. We're a good match.)

Team Rocket has a flashback!  A looong flashback!  It takes up the whole episode, but establishes their definitive origin as evil-doers.  And while it hurts to think that maybe the whole unicycle bike gang origin is no longer canon, I do think it all works out for the best.  Click here to listen!

Hello, Skitty!  May meets a new pokemon, and all of us dissolve into sugary sweetness.  Skitty is too cute for it's own good.  I think something happened in this episode, but I'm too caught up in Skitty playing with cat toys to remember.  I guess you'll just have to listen and find out for yourself!

Hey, our sponsor has a channel full of Pokemon related content, and he went to a different convention for his video subject! Check out Pokepress this way! Or visit pokepress.blogspot.com for an interview with Paul Chua, VCG champion!

I don't know what Audacity was doing, or maybe it's my computer as a whole, but after recording this twice and hours of editing, I gave up.  Sometimes we give our best efforts and wind up with second best results...

But in the plot, Ash and kiddos meet a weird family, and a dude who's afraid to let his weird family down.  It's a slice of life drama, that revisits some old tangent topics!  Click here to listen!

There comes a time where we all have to say goodbye.  Where we all have to grow up.  Togepi's role in this epic has come to a conclusion, so it's time to bid it farewell.  Also, Shedinja... I have questions about that pokemon... Click here to listen!

And I may have said I wrote a song about Magikarp and actually deigned to get that on video... my Patreon in this way...

For free content that's just as embarrassing, I tried to vlog! I went to FanCon, you can see that on Youtube! And hear an earnest song about Ash sung by Vocaloids on my other Youtube!

We begin with listener email and spend the rest of the episode painfully aware of it's faults.  That's not to say it's a bad one, just... maybe I'm putting more into this analysis than is actually at the source...  You'll have to listen for yourself to see what you think!

Ash crossdresses.  Brock is confused about the object of his affections.  A man and woman struggle to get it together and some firefly pokemon do a cute dance.  It's the crackiest episode with a long tangent about Ash's relationship to love, and you don't want to miss it!  Click here to listen!

It's summer, and the gang is kicking it off with a whole bunch of watermelon scarfing!  Ash, of course, manages to turn food into a training opportunity, and Team Rocket decides to steal everyone's fun!  Also, is Ash getting a really awesome education, or is it just me?  And Treeko's basically a moody teenager.  Tune in to hear all that and more!

There is romance in the air around Cerulean City, that's for sure!  And also a few mysteries to solve.  Misty gets letters from a stranger and Tracey keeps coming up to town despite a fully functioning postal service.  Dr. Namba of Team Rocket has some weird need for a specific Delcatty.  Also, something's mucking up the pipes at the gym.  A lot of great character moments, pokemon battles and at least one couple is going to get together by the end!  Tune in to listen!
