Some things are hard to swallow...Carlo Mirabella-Davis’ 2020 dramatic thriller will have you cringe in your seat as we follow the story of the young & beautiful Hunter (played by Hayley Bennett). Hunter has seemingly ‘hit the lottery’ marrying into a wealthy family. Things seem to be going well even though she lives a rather dull life as a housewife/trophy wife, who was picked more for her genetics and need for perfection. She finds out she is pregnant & she should be overjoyed, right? Everyone else seems to be & for an unknown reason she begins to swallow objects.

Girls really do get it done... The 5th film from the eclectic Quentin Tarantino,‘Death Proof’ takes us on a wild ride, following Stuntman Mike (Kurt Russell) & the lovely ladies he stalks.

Which upon watching reminded me of another coming of age film Thirteen (2003) that debut 17 years ago at the Sundance film festival.

It’s Spooky season & to kick it off I’m diving into director/writer Michael Haneke’s chilling 2007 horror ‘Funny Games’. This film is about two psychopathic young men who take a family hostage in their cabin. Starring Naomi Watts (Ann), Tim Roth (George), Michael Putt(Paul) & Brady Corbet as Peter.
