Bad things happen even to good people.  The life of Job, a spiritual and upright man, proves it.  What do we do when we're in the middle of some horrible situations and heaven seems silent?

Enoch, seventh from Adam, is a somewhat obscure figure in scripture.  But what little is revealed about him in just a few short verses speaks volumes to us today about his faith and trust in God.  His life is a consistent example of being in fellowship with the Father!

Jacob tried most all of his life to escape the process of brokenness, and his self-sufficiency and scheming. God had to have a wrestling match with him and show him some tough but transforming love to bring about change in his life. Are you willing to embrace pain to be brought close to God and live in dependency upon Him?

The great Syrian general, Naaman, a mighty man in valor, found out that the product of blessing only comes through the path of brokenness.  We too, need to learn that lesson.  Learn the process that brings us to the meeting of our greatest need!

New Testament faith is simply looking to Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, and taking Him at His Word.  This kind of faith produces a new dynamic in the life of a believer, in our spiritual wisdom, worship and daily walk.

Christians are not exempt from pain and trouble, and often God uses brokenness in our lives to make us suitable for His service.  Are you cooperating with God in this process, and do you look for His hand in all of life's circumstances?

Often we let the crises and catastrophes of life take us out of the race and rob us of our worship.  Here are some reminders from the lives of Jacob and his son Joseph that our Savior is still worthy of our worship!  Let life's trouble push you into His arms!

At Christmas time we are all making a wish list for those special gifts we long to get this time of year.  But have you ever stopped to ask the question,

"What does my Savior want from my life this year?"

Satan, the great counterfeiter, takes the birth of Christ at Christmas and turns us all into consumers!  God gives His riches to those who recognize their spiritual poverty.  God's wonderful gifts are those that money can't buy!
