This week’s episode is with a man who knows emotional, physical, and mental hardship oh too well; Yet, despite this, continues to get back up in the face of adversity. Daniel’s journey playing in the AFL is like no others, suffering a ruptured ACL back to back to back to back, putting him in the rehabilitation center for the 1450 days before successfully returning to the AFL.
Daniel and I discuss his life story, from the joy of playing in the AFL system with his brother, Troy; His podcast adventures, the media’s shortcomings in their coverage of sport in Australia, Daniel’s brand MTMF (Mental toughness, Mental fortitude) and the journey of returning to the highest level of Footy after a set-backs only a few people on this earth share.
