Welcome back guys! We hope you're enjoying your holiday season and enjoying the company of loved ones! In this episode, we get into the concept of traditions as a whole (not just holiday traditions) and whether or not they should hold any value in our modern society. We see them as a modern day game of telephone with our ancestors but they can be valuable when it comes to nurturing the inner child that we all have or just enjoying some nostalgia. We talk about our family Christmas traditions when we were growing up, like Fawn's family tradition of National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation and Chinese food on Christmas Eve and their tradition of "Special Day". And Roman's family food traditions, blending Italian and Hispanic by doing tamales on Christmas Eve and ravioli on Christmas day, all from scratch with very old family recipes. What cool Christmas traditions do you guys have?

Welcome back guys! Only about a week til Thanksgiving already!! We've been experiencing some personal turmoil that's leveled out recently but it's had us thinking about the topic of self-improvement and what that means to us as trans people and just as humans in general. We talk about Fawn's experiences as a budding trans person in New Mexico and why she tattooed her pronouns on her throat. We talk about Roman's experiences as a "country mouse" moving to the city and his experiences with megalophobia and self-improvement. After discussing some philosophy we've learned and read, we get into one of our favorite topics which is how we are similar to ancient people and how we can connect with them. Lastly, we give some insight and unsolicited advice on how to self-actualize and not take things too personally, as a trans person or as a cis person!

In our second October episode, we start off by teaching you about an inside joke in our household (The Van Gogh Debate). We talk about watching the Netflix show, Haunting of Hill House and that leads us into talking about the Stone Tape Theory. We discuss how we feel about if demons exist or not and if they do, what we think they might be. Fawn tells her ghost encounter stories both from childhood and young adulthood. I talk about my growth when it comes to being afraid and self actualization which leads me to talking about The Happiness Project journal. A journal that helps you record a glimmer from each and every day! We then get really deep and talk about what we think happens when you die. We talk a little bit about Murasaki Shikibu, a woman from ancient Japan who wrote one of the world's first novels. She has an amazing quote about existence and why people tell stories that we get into.
