Being a mom is hard. Probably one of the hardest jobs a woman will ever do. Aaaand, we are not getting paid!! Single moms, married moms, working moms, stay at home moms, vegan moms, sleep training moms, baby carrying moms... we all have one thing in common - we are all moms! Is one better than the other? Nope! We all think we will screw up our kids sooner or later. But still, there is lots and lots of mommy shaming out there. Moms judge each other and think, that they have it figured out - the perfect way to raising successful, well behaved and super smart children without temper tantrums and all the while staying their best friend. Mothering and raising children as well as caring for a whole family isn't the same as it was years ago when we grew up. It doesn't matter, what continent you live on, but being a mom and being parents in the 20th century is by far not the same as when our generation came up. Let's talk about it! Listen to us, taking today's motherhood under the looking glass and have a good laugh. Enjoy!
Social media, as well as texting, are integral parts of our lives nowadays. But have you ever noticed the problems it brings with it? People think they are social without being social anymore. We sit at home alone and connect with people only through our computer or phone. Is this really being social or are we getting more and more out of touch with "real" people and society? Communication has changed so much over the past years. Do we really talk anymore? Or is it easier to shoot a text? Do we realize, what gets lost in translation? The tone makes the music, right? But the tone is lost if we are only communicating through texts and Snapchats. Today we are discussing the influence of social media and modern technology on our communication skills. Join us for an entertaining look behind the curtain of texting and social media and enjoy an insight into what women drives nuts when trying to communicate with men.
