This week we welcome comedian and writer Emily Landrum! Emily is the oldest of 7 children and was home schooled in a Christian household. As you probably know by now Katie and Laura were...not, so they had a lot of questions! From nail polish envy to realizing she was sort of living in the Foot Loose town, we were thrilled to listen to Emily's stories of growing up not quite on the prairie, but like if the prairie had a snowboarding team!

For comedian Jay Whittaker, high school didn't suck. After college but before becoming a world traveling comedian, Orlando Baxter needed an escape from corporate America. The path he thought was going to lead him to being a guidance counselor actually made him a math teacher...and a television tech teacher...and a volleyball coach...and an in school suspension teacher. As Wynter shares her experience traveling the world performing with Up with People, Katie realizes she's interviewing one of her childhood idols as she remembers seeing a show as a kid. Wynter's experiences during her time with Up with People helped her find a way to create an adult life as a professional artist and performer.  Normally you can find her performing live all over the place, but until those vaccines kick in it's a Zoom life for the time being.
