On this episode of The Adventures of Pipeman, we’re joined by special guest Brendon Small about METALOCALYPSE & DETHKLOK. Brendon shares his experience of creating an animated film and the different challenges he faced trying to get this project exactly where he wanted it. Brendon discusses the importance of being able to get cameos from metal figureheads like Metallica. Pipeman and Brendon compare and contrast the differences in creating a full-length film compared to a tv series and the new challenges they had to face. Dethklok is also working on new music to coincide with the new animated film, the band's first record since 2013. Brendon explains how this latest project is a combination of polar opposites with the first half being devastating heavy metal and the last half being more mystical and thought-provoking.
