Pipes, Pours, and Pals

There is a new pipe maker community called Instagram Pipe Maker Club (@ig_pipemaker_club). We have the privilege of not only bringing light to these artisan makers, but we are privileged to be the first media source to feature the new club. We are INCREDIBLY excited at the work coming out of this group and the wonderful resource of knowledge for less experienced makers.
This week, we are joined by IGPMC club member Aaron McGee of Carolina Cumberland. Aaron is newer to pipe making, but he brings a wealth of skill to the table from his years of fine wood working, pen making, and stem material blank making. His stem rod stock is drumming up quite the interest in the pipe making community, and we speculate you'll begin to see his material in the hands of more and more makers.

We went back to the Muletown Pipe Show at Briarworks again in 2023. If you didn't go, you missed phenomenal time. Join your Pals as we relax and reflect on the wonderful time we had.

While at Muletown Pipe Show, we took the opportunity to catch up with our OLD Pals, Mike Laeding and Rocket Man. We had a tremendous time hanging out with our dear friends.

We have had many requests for how to support the podcast. IF that is something that interests you, see the options at: https://www.buymeacoffee.com/pipespourspals

This week we compare side by side by side by side, 4 different offerings from Wild Turkey. We might have been a little generous with the pours, but hey, we're among pals. Grab a pour of Turkey and join us for a while in the smoking lounge.

Sometimes a good recuperation is needed after an illness, a time away, maybe having a few abnormal podcast episodes, or a compilation of all of the above. Bear with us as your Pals Nate and Justin try to jump back into the swing of our "normal" routine. We had a bit of catching up to do. But, as always, our time together is great for the soul.

Your Pal Nate is under the weather so we are rolling with Life's punches and making sure you still have Pals to smoke with. Our Pal, Tim Beaumont of Papa Bear's Pipes, joins us for an opportunity for us to get to know Tim both inside and outside of the pipe and tobacco world.

Your Pals Nate and Justin were invited to spend the day with our Pals at the Fort Wayne Cigar and Pipe Club in Fort Wayne, Indiana. We had such a fantastic day we almost forgot to record. Thanks so much to our kind and friendly hosts. We can't wait until next year!

Stranger from Cabela's aka Tyler joins your Pals for a smoke, a drink, and a hearty chuckle.
