Here are Greg's Proven Strategies to Rebound from Adversity

    1. Reflect and own up your mistakes.

Like what Greg did on his first day on the prison cell, he wrote letters to people he hurt and offended asking for forgiveness and owning up his mistakes.

    1. Tune out from all the negativity.

Wear your "earplugs". Chose not to listen to all the distractions and negativity that will hinder you to move forward.

    1. Seek Clarity.

You can choose to meditate, pray, read, and write or journal to clear all your thoughts.

    1. Develop a routine.

As Tim Ferris said Routine means freedom.

    1. Control your distractions.

Chose to eliminate your life's distraction in order for you to reach your goal and destination.

    1. Take action and move on.

Find for solutions and interesting things to solve your adversity. Eliminate your life's anchor from moving forward. Do not get sucked up by other people's negativity that tells you cannot do it.

    Relationships

    • You can get what you want from the relationship.
    • You can do a check and balance on the people in your life that are worth keeping.
    • You can test people especially friends if they are worth keeping or not. By being direct and honest with the people you are with you can directly qualify if they are worth your time or not.
    • Help you honor your own time.
    • You can be honest and let people know when you think you need more time on yourself. Make them understand that this is what you want. Just let them know and see how they will react. The majority, these people will react in a kind generous way.
    • Being blunt and honest will make you more empowered in making your own decision.
    • People respect and seek your opinion more.
    • Save your valuable time by being bluntly direct and honest about what you expect from your relationship, by stating you want, dislike, favorites, and passion. You just have to lay you cards from day one.

    Business/Career

    • Saves your credibility. When you are in your building your career, you need to be direct and honest with everybody that you meet. Never talk smack behind your co-worker back just to try to improve your position.

  • Ep2.Can you Handle your Truth
Knowing you can totally trust one another brings a type of freedom and comfort that helps your relationship work in the best way possible. If there is anything that will bring your relationship down the drain it's lies and dishonesty your relationship needs to be honest and direct— you also need to overcome your own truth.

In this episode of Pitching the Truth, Gregory Paul dive deep on ways you can do your reality check with your relationship, not only to benefit the other person but most importantly for YOURSELF.

How to have a more Truthful, Direct and Honest Relationship with your Family, Friends, and Finances
    1. Family

This is the toughest part because as they say "You can pick your friends but not your family."

    • Reflect on how you want to manage your family. Step back and take inventory of your life and decide what is important.
    • Talk to them intimately. Be direct and honest. You have to do this to benefit yourself not the other person. Creating a space for a truthful, direct and honest dialogue can create a deep great conversation with your family. If you can lay down what you want, your partner will be more likely to do the same.
    • Do not be afraid to open up to your family.

    1. Friends
      • Take inventory of who you surround yourself.
      • Avoid negative unhappy friends because you cannot benefit from them. But try to change them in a way that you are direct and honest.
      • Try opening up to your friend about something that's worrying you in a deep conversation. Not just to rant.
    1. Finances

    • Be honest and direct the struggles you are facing with regards to your business.
    • Admit your own mistakes.
    • Ask for support and financial pieces of advice. Do not try to sort things on your own.
    • In instances, when someone asks you to lend them money, ask about their business plan and how they plan to pay you back. It is okay to be direct and question them. There is nothing wrong with that. When it comes to finances people do not pay attention to what is happening and what is important in regards to the drive of the individual that you are lending the money to.
