Want to learn exactly how to pitch a news story to The Project? I’m not going to lie. EVERY single client I’ve ever worked with has had The Project as their number one target for their media campaigns. So you can bet I was pretty damn pumped with I recorded this podcast.

 

In this episode, I sat down (in lockdown) with Georgia Done a field producer for Australia’s award-winning current affairs program, The Project.

Prior to joining The Project, Georgia worked as a producer and reporter for 7 News which took her all over Queensland from Brisbane, Bundaberg, Rockhampton and Hervey Bay. 

 

Georgia and I enjoyed a meandering isolation chat that covered everything from life before corona, the essential element she needs to create a great story, what goes on behind the scenes when pitching her own stories to her bosses and the simple formula to a great pitch for The Project.
