City Council votes tomorrow on the nomination of Larry Scirotto as police chief. Council President Theresa Kail-Smith is putting the confirmation on the agenda, saying in a statement "the majority of the members of the council seem to have confidence in his ability to serve as a chief." Council had a public interview with Scirotto last week. He said he wants to make better use of officers' time and see them build relationships with the community.
