In episode 6 of season 2, our host, Alan Fear, sits down with the artist f3ralcat.  

F3ralcat is an artist, composer, and producer who performs for a paradigm shift away from that which exists today for the saxophone. His band, Feralcat and the Wild, is a prog-rock/emo/fusion band where his sweeping saxophone melodies carry overtop driving distorted guitars and synthesizers in music that functions better around mosh pits than in jazz clubs. As a solo artist & producer, the music he creates lends saxophone melodies/harmonies to sounds in lo-fi, synth-wave, and video game-inspired tracks.

In episode 5 of season 2, our host, Alan Fear, sits down with filmmaker Karina Dandashi.  

Karina Dandashi is a Syrian-American Muslim filmmaker born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA. Her films explore nuances in identity through the intersection of family, religion, and culture in Southwest Asian and North African (SWANA) and Muslim communities in America. Her work has been featured in numerous Oscar-Qualifying festivals around the U.S. and recently screened at The Museum of Modern Art. Karina is a 2020 Creative Culture Fellow at The Jacob Burns Film Center and a 2021 Sundance Ignite Fellow. She was featured in Marie Claire’s inaugural Creators Issue as one of the “Top 21 Creators to Watch'' in 2022. Her feature film debut, OUT OF WATER, was chosen for the 2023 Film Independent Screenwriting Lab.

In episode 4 of season 2, our host, Alan Fear sits down with artist Scott Kowalski.  

Working in his studio in Pittsburgh, PA. He works to find peace and explore internal duality. This duality seems to always be in conflict. One of Minimalism and simple structure and one of chaos and immense depth. Using this approach, he considers himself a minimalist abstract expressionist, using acrylic on canvas, bold, rich colors, and limited color pallets to convey his art.

Bio: 

Michael Buzzelli is a stand-up comedian and sit-down author. As a comedian, he has performed all around the country, most notably at the Ice House, the Comedy Store, and the Improv in Los Angeles. As a writer, Michael Buzzelli has been published in a variety of websites, magazines, and newspapers. He is a theater and arts critic for 'Burgh Vivant,’ Pittsburgh's online cultural talk magazine. He is also a Moth Grand Slam storyteller and actor. He has presented workshops on humor to the Romance Writers of America and the Pennwriters Conference.

His books, "Below Average Genius," a collection of essays culled from his weekly humor column in the Observer-Reporter, and his romantic comedy,  “All I Want for Christmas," is on sale at Amazon.com. His short story, “Study Buddy” is in a collection of LGBTQ romance short stories titled, “Winter Break.”
