Maureen and Pina talk about the process of grieving both in the Ghanaian and Italian community. Although it was a somber and somewhat heavy topic, they discuss aspects of the cultural that they find quite interesting and bizzarre, such as "the wailing and rolling on the floor". Pina discloses some intimate details of her dad's passing and the meaning of "belonging to the ancestors". This episode was recorded following the death of Chadwick Boseman and although it was "a long time ago" according to social media timeline, it gives us an opportunity to discuss the topic of mourning and "truly moving on".
