Brian starts the episode off announcing some upcoming events. The comeback of Warren Miller films, the hosting of a Haiku Deathmatch, plus the start of Alpha video series running from September 8th till November 24th at 575's Hillside location. Sometimes problems arise in the restaurant that are not always expected. These problems can be hard to overcome and in this episode the crew shares how we can all learn for experience like this. Communication is one of the most important factors to any relationship, and the crew shares how as a restaurant 575 is trying to tackle​ communication head-on. Brian shares what he has learned from current and past problems in the restaurant. Restaurant culture is unpredictable and the crew shares how they handle it and what makes it so much fun.

This episode is used to introduce 575's partnership with West Texas A&M University and announce The Haiku Death Match taking place at 575's Hillside location on October 28. The crew and guest introduce the event and give details to what a haiku poem is and how you can join in on the fun of our haiku deathmatch​. Our guests share how they are involved in this event and give an insight into how this partnership came to be. Poet and judge, Pat Tyree, gives our listeners some pointers on what will and will not get you through to the next round. The Crew touches on WT's influence in Canyon and how they hope events like this will help involve the entire community. We are back with our good friend Kim Talley, who is the owner of Scales and Tails here in Amarillo and is also a Pastor. We kick the episode off with Kim explaining what "Scales and Tails" is and how it came to be. That takes Brian back to the beginning of 575 and where it has come in the last thirteen years. Summer is coming to an end, and with vacations and conflicting schedules, the crew has been on a summer break. Brian, Tamar, and Christopher sit down this week and catch up with each other’s summer. Tamar shares her experience and advice with buying a mattress online. The crew shares the trips they look over the summer from seeing Beck in Colorado to Camping in the snow. Tamar shares her experiences with a summer pottery class she took through Blue Sage. Brian uses this opportunity to share his love for pickleball. The ending of 575’s annual event, P3, opens an opportunity for new events to take place. Brian and Tamar talk about 575’s past events with 24 Hours in the Canyon and Shakehands Pong. Changes in Amarillo brings new things to do in the city and new events around town. Summer camp has always been a part of summer. The crew looks back on camp memories and the good that comes out of it. Today’s youth has to deal with cellphone separation when going to camp, which is something that past generations never had to deal with. That leads into the cell phone debate and how they can be abused.

How do you go about creating someone new or even someone you know? Are you a hand shaker, fist bumper, or a hugger? The crew shares which one they each are or are not and compare how greetings differ with people and places. If you are a frequent 575 customer at our Civic location, then you probably have experienced a Jerry hug. The conversation leads into road rage and who in the group suffer from it. Southern hospitality is very present here at home but have you ever noticed anywhere else? With greetings on the mind, the crew brings up phone conversations and how some people end them. The crew shares awkward stories like when you mistakenly think you are being waved at but it’s really the person behind you. We declare Tamar the gatekeeper of 575 corporate and she shares the secret to get through to Brian. We wrap the episode by realizing we didn't find the answer we were looking for but in the end, we better understood the proper way to greet someone.

The crew comes together on a rainy Friday and talks about fears. This episode was recorded right after Chris finished his time with FM90. He looks back on the fears he had when he started and how those fears were nonexistent when he left. Have you ever had a hard time doing something because someone is watching you or standing over your shoulder? We share our deepest fears and Tamar shares Mike Robinson, 575’s GM, fear of dolls. Tamar shares her fear of small holes or also know as Trypophobia. Do you suffer from the fear of caring what others think too much? Brian suggests to be yourself and stop caring what others think. The crew shares how having children has helped them overcome common fears and shares other ways to overcome a fear that may be holding you back. We each have our own fears and they are each different and it’s hard to not judge others when we don’t understand why they are scared. Fear can limit us​ but it has to be understood and overcome.

Brain, Marcus, Tamar, and Christopher are in the studio today and they talk on what’s something that can stop your progression. We sometimes give ourselves excuses for reasons not to strive for success. The crew shares things that have stopped them from progression whether its laziness, fear, creating a goal too big, or even not knowing what progression looks like. Taking small steps will lead to big steps. Creating a goal that is too big or focusing on the finish line can cause discouragement and create excuses not to strive for that finish line. Finding a purpose is something that’s not easy, but Marcus shares the idea of instead of finding it you have to create your purpose and find the love in the things you do. Brain share how he shifted his purpose to the things he loves. When you truly care about something the work comes easy. It's not always easy to find that love but once you do you see the difference. The crew finishes on the tone of being yourself. You should never let outside influences change what you love. If you are worried about what others think it will stop your progress into whatever venture you go down. Just remember if you love something there is someone out there just like you, we are never alone. Find your passion and do what you love in life. You only get one. ​

How can you talk about weddings and not bring up scary movies…… said no normal person ever, but the crew takes a full swing into movies and some of their favorites. That takes us to a concert story when Christopher was asked to sit down. Tamar moved schools often when she was younger, she explains some of the places she has been and which ones are her favorite. We end this episode by comparing big city life to a smaller city life.
