Samuel hears and responds to a God who goes with him. In the same way, God goes with us to help us when we answer his call.

Philippians 4:1-7- We can talk about taking our anxiety to God in prayer... or we can just do it! Today we practice what we preach.

Philippians 3:12-16- The primary goal of the Christian life is resurrection. We must reach for our goal of resurrection life with every fiber of our being.

Philippians 3:7-11- God allows us to do some creative accounting and substitute Jesus' righteousness in place of our own so that our accounts are right with God.

Philippians 2:19-30- God takes ordinary people like you and me and makes them like Jesus.

As we pursue the goal of becoming more like Jesus, we must remember that the only way forward is to be powered by the energy God gives us.

Christ calls us to unity, which is only possible through humility. A unified church is full of people who have gotten over themselves.
