Planeswalkers Anonymous episodes

  • Adventuring in the Forgotten Realms Story
This week it's almost as if we have two major topics. We've got a breakdown of the story associated with the current standard set, D&D: Adventures in the Forgotten Realms; and we've got an extended giveaway section. Every month we give away some cards; but, this week, we've got the monthly giveaway, a deck-box giveaway and we're announcing upcoming giveaways for the next two months. If you want to find out how to win a Secret Lair: Foil Edition, listen to this weeks Planeswalkers Anonymous!
Let us know if you're excited about the prizes by emailing us at [email protected].
You can check out the Dungeon Modules discussed in this episode for yourself at: https://magic.wizards.com/en/story

  • D&D Metagame
It's that time again! As the summer fades, as children go back to school, as you enjoy the last days of swimming weather, a new format is coalescing. D&D has been around a few weeks now and we feel like we have an understanding of the new metagame. At least, Donovan understands it and he can explain it to the rest of us. Here at Planeswalkers Anonymous, we illustrate the metagame with a MetaGame Clock. If you disagree with our numbers, or even if you agree, let us know at [email protected].
Check out our MetaGame Clock image on Imgur:

The MetaGame Clock was first proposed by Leon Workman in 2000 on The Dojo and if you want more information about it check out our On the Shoulders of Giants! episode, Clocking the Metagame, Episode 55:

  • Hunter Burton Memorial Open
It seems like this show keeps lagging a week behind the news. The Hunter Burton Memorial Open event was this past weekend and we've got the inside scoop that only five-hundred and forty-nine other people could possibly have. Donovan was playing Modern to prevent Suicide and in this episode he gives us the details on the Hunter Burton event and the Modern meta. If you have a charity event you want to shout out, write to us at [email protected]
