On this week's Planet FPL Clash of the Correspondents James is joined by Brentford fan Tom Medd and Chelsea fan Ted Maw to discuss their clubs, the best FPL assets from them and preview the Gameweek 8 encounter between the two.

The Bees have impressed so far in their debut Premier League season and find themselves in the top half. Who does Tom believe is the best defensive asset to own in FPL? And what does he make of the front two Bryan Mbuemo and Ivan Toney? Is it viable to invest in both!? Should there be caution with Mathias Jensen and Yoane Wissa potentially about to be integrated into the starting line up and could that mean a change of formation is in the offering?

While for Ted's Chelsea it's becoming as difficult to predict their line-up as it is to predict that of title challengers Manchester City. What does Ted make of the Marcos Alonso and Ben Chilwell situation at left wing-back? Does the headache mean it's better to ignore both and if so who are the best defensive Chelsea defensive assets to own?

Plus why Romelu Lukaku will be difficult to go without for those who don't own, how far can these two clubs can go respectively this season and if there is any animosity between the two clubs ahead of their first West London Premier League meeting...

On this week's Planet FPL Clash of the Correspondents James is joined by Tottenham fan Ricky Saunders and Aston Villa fan Lee Jackson to discuss their clubs, the FPL prospects from them and preview Sunday's meeting at White Hart Lane.

It's three defeats in a row for Tottenham after Sunday's disastrous North London Derby defeat. Is this a full on crisis? Is Nuno's job under threat already? What does it all means for the prospects for Son and Kane in the coming weeks?

While at Villa, a change of system to 3-5-2 has seen benefits, but is the switch here to stay? What does it mean for those both currently in and out of the team? And should we have our eyes on any of their FPL assets in the near future?

UEFA don't want it, but maybe the rest of the World does... so is a biennial World Cup, held every other year something that could happen beginning as early as 2028?

It might not be as far fetched as it sounds, but if it did happen what would be the impact on club football and the international calendar? How would qualifying for tournaments even work?

Suj & James cover the pros and cons as Football's quest for more football continues...
