On episode fourteen of the Planet Shivers podcast I talk with the fantastic visual artist, Jose Rivera. His portraits will blow your mind, and his oil paintings will do the same! Jose, Isaac, and I get right down to the core of the creative process, realism, and the relationship between the artist and the dreaded real world. This episode also marks a new turn for the podcast. Mainly an oil painter, Sandi’s work will engross you with not only it’s precision, but her use of reflections. In this episode Isaac jumps up to the mic with me, and the three of us talk about Sandi’s experiences in art school, her process of painting, and being taught by fellow artist, Shalom Neuman…and how Sandi was Isaac’s own art teacher. This is a fun and warm episode with conversation not to be missed.

For this episode of Planet Shivers I do my first phone interview with musician and music producer Roy Hannum. Roy is a fun and knowledgeable guy, and here we talk about record stores, music producing, original Folk, Gospel, and Blues music, Greenwich Village in the early sixties, and meeting Bob Dylan.

This is another episode, since it's recording, that I've been very eager to finally release. For episode six, I had a lot of fun chatting with my friend, Mike Lynn. He is a contemporary renaissance man. Besides his life-long career as a lawyer, Mike is also a drummer and visual artist. We talk here about Mike's work, and how it is all integrated together with energy and passion. This episode ends with a bang, so you won't want to miss a second!
