She leads enterprise-wide Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS) and Health Outcomes Surveys (HOS) performance and value based purchasing efforts for Global and Professional Direct Contracting and Medicare Advantage lines of business. She collaborates with leadership, state market executives, and 2400+ community-based Primary Care physicians and advanced practice professionals in 32+ independent medical groups, across 14+ states and 31 geographies to focus on their Total Care Model encompassing: People, process, and technology to improve patient care experience and overall health and well-being for 500,000+ patients.
 
Valerie’s 20 years of experience combine shaping guest, member, customer, clinician, employee, and patient experiences from corporate hospitality to across the healthcare continuum: acute to post-acute care, home-health, managed long-term care and clinician groups. She specializes in the human experience through a psychological approach; focusing on human behavior and creating psychological solutions to meet people where they are at.
She received her Master of Public Administration and Healthcare Administration Management from Marist College, is a Certified Patient Experience Professional through the Patient Experience Institute, and a Founding Member of The PX Community.
 
When she is not busy elevating the human experience in healthcare, she is busy creating memories with her husband and 3 children. As lifelong transplants from the Empire State of New York to the Sunshine state of Florida, they enjoy living a holistic lifestyle at the beach or on their 3 acres, gardening, juicing, and soaking up the sun with their 32 chickens.
