  • Our Kids' Perspective On Vegan vs Plant-Based - PTP319
In this episode of The Plant Trainers Podcast, we talk with our kids Russell and Sage all about being vegan and plant-based. It's really interesting to get their perspectives on what each of those means considering it's not exactly something they learn in school and we don't often talk about it matter of factly at the dinner table. Often they overhear conversations, videos, podcasts, and piece together little tidbits they learn about it at the health or food and drink festivals we go to. And be ready to get a lesson in reading labels from school-aged children! You may learn something. We also talk to them about how they manage eating vegan at school and other people's houses. They also tell us about how they feel about the way their friends eat. Overall it was fun. Our son was a little tired having just gotten back from an overnight camp and it seems like Sage was excited to have a platform to have her voice heard. Perhaps she is a good candidate for the Vegan Podcast Academy? We are now offering free training at www.veganpodcastacademy.com where you can learn the 3 shifts you need to start getting your voice heard. When this show is done head on over and listen to that training. In this episode we discuss: Remember the kids Plant-based vs vegan Chickpea omelets Taking lunch to school Good and bad things about being vegan or plant-based at school Favourite foods Cooking Playing at friends houses Reading labels Trying vegan foods Parties Beyond meat Kids health Links to things we mentioned: Vegan Podcast Academy Facebook group – Plant-Based Health, Nutrition and Fitness Host your own podcast with Libsyn- use promo code "plants" and get a month free! • Podcasting Led Us To This - PTP318
In this episode of The Plant Trainers Podcast, we talk all about the lives we have touched and the life we have created through podcasting. This has been an incredible journey that we are super excited to share with you. 4.5 years ago we started our podcast because we wanted to get our message out. That eating plant-based could keep others from going through the health traumas we did. The problem was that we didn't know anything about starting a podcast. We would have happily paid bitcoin to learn how to have our podcast up and running in 30 days, having it grow, bring in new clients into our coaching business even though we knew nothing about tech and didn't know who would be our guests, we just wanted to start because we had an important message to share. Maybe you're a health coach, or life, love, laughter or triathlon coach, fitness instructor or personal trainer, or MAYBE EVEN a vocal, acting, or speaking coach or intuitive. Maybe you just love podcasts. It doesn't matter. If you want to help people improve their quality of life on a small or large scale, then this podcast is for you because podcasting is a special form of media that can be very powerful! In this episode we discuss: Following the trends Helping others Growing our brand Becoming an authority Making Mistakes The growth of podcasting What is the VPA? The 3 shifts we took that made a huge difference in shaping our podcast and business Links to things we mentioned: Vegan Podcast Academy Our 1st ever episode --> Welcome To The Plant Trainers Podcast - PTP001

  • Erectile Dysfunction - PTP316
In this episode of The Plant Trainers Podcast, Shoshana talks all about erectile dysfunction. There, we said it. Sex is not a normal topic for the Plant Trainers but it has come up in many episodes especially with the cardiologists we speak with. As you may know, erectile dysfunction can be the first sign of heart disease. As you may also know, a plant-based diet is the best way to help prevent and possibly even reverse heart disease. So if you would like to keep things the way they are in the bedroom in the years to come or maybe even improve it, you are going to want to make sure (for the erect partner in the relationship) the risks of eating foods with cholesterol and the benefits of a plant-based diet are very clear. The contents of this podcast may contain adult subject matter and listener discretion should be considered on behalf of children. And if you want to know how a plant-based diet changed things for us in the bedroom listen to the full episode.
