Especially during times of Coronavirus, knowing what a trauma response looks like when we are triggered can be helpful in taking some of the shame off of ourselves for how we respond. Because when we know better, we do better. And when we know better, we also treat ourselves better.

Coronavirus has everything all up in the air and crazy. When we are at the mercy of a big rupture like a job loss, pandemic, divorce, or other major loss, we know that one way or another, this rupture is going to fundamentally change us. The question is, who do you want to be when this is over?
